Your Home & Tech Cancellation Rights
We understand that a number of factors can influence your decision to participate in Home & Tech (all positive we hope). We also appreciate that circumstances can change and you may need to cancel your order. As such, you do have a limited period of time in which to cancel.
If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your request to participate in your employer’s Home & Tech scheme, you must inform Home & Tech in writing.
In accordance with the agreement between you and your employer (the ‘Benefits Plan’), your cancellation rights are as follows:
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
You have a right to cancel your request within 15 (fifteen) calendar days from the commencement date of your Benefits Plan; we refer to this as your ‘Cooling Off Period’.
The ‘Commencement Date’ is the day that you and your employer have both signed the Benefits Plan; you are notified of this via email.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Unfortunately, we are unable to part-cancel an order. The Benefits Plan you sign with your employer is for the entire order value, therefore cancelling this agreement affects every item.
- You may only cancel your request if you have not used the Retailer Security Code(s) to obtain a Collection Pass(es). If you redeem any of the Home & Tech Retailer Security Codes issued to you at any time you will no longer be able to cancel the Benefits Plan, even if your request to cancel is received within the Cooling Off Period.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
If you wish to cancel the Benefits Plan you need to send written confirmation of your request to Home & Tech within the Cooling Off Period via email at info@bhnextrashomeandtech.co.uk.
Please include your name and the Home & Tech Order Reference (beginning ‘TS’) in your email.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
On receiving the cancellation notice from you, Home & Tech will contact you to confirm receipt of your request and check that your request to cancel is valid.
If you are eligible, Home & Tech will invalidate the Retailer Security Code(s) before confirming cancellation to you and your Employer. Once you have submitted your cancellation notice you must not attempt to use your Retailer Security Code(s).
If a salary reduction/deduction has been applied under the Benefits Plan by the date Home & Tech confirms cancellation of the Retailer Security Code(s) and Benefits Plan, your employer will reimburse the value of the salary reduction/deduction at a future date your salary is due to be paid.
